Yoga
Yoga is a physical, mental and spiritual discipline from ancient India that aims to integrate the body, mind and spirit of the practitioner. The physical aspect of Yoga involves the performance of poses that develop the practitioner's alignment, balance, coordination, flexibility, stamina and strength. The poses can be done in a quick succession or in a sedate progression depending on the practitioner's objectives. Yoga poses themselves tend to be constant, but the intensity, structure, theme and focus of their performance vary depending on the tradition in which the teacher has trained.
